The story begins with an idea...
Some artists discover their calling. Others are born knowing. In 1964, on Veterans Day a little girl stepped onto stage winning 1st place in a baby beauty contest, and realized she could make people smile. That moment quietly shaped her life.
In 1965 at the age of five, she created her first heart-shaped collage, dedicated to the love for her family.
Through years of dance and performance, she learned that art can move many hearts at once.
